39 hours 8am – 4:30pm Mon- Thurs, 8am – 3:30pm Fri
Up to £30,000 per annum


Hybrid Role (At least 3 days in the office after completion of training)

The position is a critical administrative role which demands a high level of confidentiality, with a very strong attention to detail. The role requires a very organised, proactive individual to work across the entire HR function delivering essential administrative support, specifically to Payroll, but will also be required to support Training and HR functions.

 HR & Payroll Administrator

Help with payroll processing.

  • Assist with end-to-end processing of monthly payroll for circa 700+ employees
  • Prepare upload for manual timesheets on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare upload sheets for manual expense forms on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare upload sheets for private mile deductions on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare upload sheets for Concur personal expense claims on a monthly basis.
  • Process the monthly draw and send out email to all employees on a monthly basis.
  • Call employees to verify bank detail changes on a monthly basis.
  • Input leavers on Realtime on a monthly basis
  • Other payroll processing as required

Monthly reporting

  • Assist Payroll Officer with month end reporting for finance

    Business Support
  • Assist with booking of travel for MD and other directors.
  • Event organisation – be prepared to assist the team with organisation of annual firework display, ad hoc employee events etc.


  • Support team with recruitment
  • Provide end to end administration of new starters including the preparation of offer letters/contracts/new starter packs/undertake Company induction/ reference checks.
  • Provide timesheets to agencies on a weekly basis.
  • Deal with adhoc queries with regard to HR system e.g. resetting of passwords
  • Tracking probationary periods
  • Assist with management of employee absence.
  • Prepared to assist with implementation of new global HR system.

Candidate Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience within HR/Payroll
  • Experience of HR/Payroll and Time and Attendance systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • A great team player with ability to achieve results, working to strict deadlines, through collaborative working.
  • Motivated and pro-active – a self-starter able to work under own initiative.
  • Requires a strong attention to detail, someone who works very methodically and is well versed in organisation of workload – time management is crucial.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Able to cope with, at times, a pressurised environment.
