Charles Malherbe

Group Development Director

Charles has worked in the recruitment industry for over 15 years, in various roles, companies and sectors, predominantly in France.

He became Managing Director of PROMAN UK in 2017, with responsibility for increasing the level of performance within the business and creating a safe and respectful work environment for all Proman associates, both permanent and temporary.

He developed our successful business strategy to match and overcome market expectations and drive an innovative and continuous improvement culture within the business. 

In 2023, he moved to a group-focused Global Development Director role, where he ensures consistency of the PROMAN brand across the group.

Patrick Ramsdale

Co-Managing Director (Corporate Resources)

Patrick has worked for Proman since 2003, he was an Account Manager in our Supply Chain Division for Liverpool and West Lancashire, before moving into a Development Consultation role, overseeing quality and training for the company.

In 2015 he became Director for Legal and Compliance where he oversees the company’s infrastructure including Legal, HR, IT, Facilities, and the operational processes of the business, as well as the management of the strategic operational system, ensuring we always deliver a professional service to our partners and workers. In 2022 he became Co-Managing Director of our Corporate Resources function, ensuring we have a robust support network for our front office operations.

Matthew Holt

Co-Managing Director (Operations)

Matthew has been with Proman for over 20 years and has overseen the growth of the business from an excellent regional recruitment company to a business that has maintained the same level of service on a national scale.

As Co-Managing Director, he is tasked with formulating the direction and strategy for all divisions and ensuring a comprehensive, compliant, and professional service to our clients. He is also responsible for driving innovation and best practice, as well as championing PROMAN's core values and culture across the business.

Liz Atkinson

UK & Group Accounts Director

Liz joined Proman in 2018 as Director of Sales with over 15 years' prior experience within the supply chain sector. Her remit is onboarding SMEs through to the UK's largest blue-chip logistics and manufacturing organisations who mirror Proman's own culture and values.

This is achieved through building better business relationships and surpassing our clients' expectations, all of which is part of The Proman Standard. A key part of her role as UK and Group Account Director now is to expand Proman's service offering internationally.

Jenine Stimpson

Director of Finance

Jenine recently joined PROMAN as Director of Finance, having worked in finance for over 20 years. She is CIMA qualified and experienced in leading financial functions operationally and collaborating with leaders to create financial strategies aligned to business goals.  

Our ambition at Proman is to establish ourselves as an industry leader focused on continuous growth. Jenine is tasked with providing high quality financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, controls, and impact to the board at PROMAN to support this goal.  

Jenine oversees two functions: Accounts and Payroll. The Accounts team provides the business with weekly margin reports to monitor business targets, collaborate with all levels of the business and support external functions such as auditors and banks. Our in-house payroll department ensures that our 5000 temporary workers are paid on time every week.   Close

Jon Derbyshire

Operations Director

Jon joined Proman UK in January 1995 having previously worked at British gas and Shell Chemicals. With 30 years' experience as a recruitment professional, he has a background of contract negotiation & implementation, People Management and Customer Relation Management within the Supply Chain Staffing & Recruitment Industry.  

Jon is our Operations Director with 13 fantastic teams across the Midlands, North-West & Yorkshire who look after over 200 client operations and around 5,000+ Proman workers every week.  We provide logistics & manufacturing operations with everything from Pickers & Packers through to Fork-Lift Operatives & Stock Checkers.

Jon would consider himself a fully-fledged Mancunian having lived in Manchester all his life (other than 3 years of University in Plymouth). He can even boast of my grandfather being one of the Busby Babes team who survived the Munich Air Disaster. He has a love of the outdoors & nature with all his travels (Scotland, Africa, Canada & Australia included so far) planned to get as close to nature as possible; one of the many highlights being that he got less than 6 feet from a group of Killer Whales off Vancouver Island.
