3.5T Driver

Proman are hiring 3.5T Drivers with Home Delivery experience, for our client in Halifax for an immediate start. Working for one of the UK's largest independent bedroom furniture companies. The role will require a proffessional and proactive individual who is going to be customer facing.

Placement offer for the 3.5T Driver will be based on a successful interview and driving assessment!

3.5T Driver pay rate:

Monday - Saturday - £11.60,

Monday - Saturday - £13.01 (Inc. Hol Pay)

The 3.5T Driver job:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients delivery service team at. As a Delivery Driver, you`ll play a key role in serving our clients customers, ensuring their perfect bed is delivered without a hitch.

Your standard working week will be 38.75 hrs (excluding breaks), however you`ll be paid in accordance with total hours worked to allow for variations in daily routes. This includes working some Saturdays with a day off in the week. No Sundays!

You'll be out on the road, driving one of the 3.5T vans and working alongside an assistant/Drivers Mate to fulfil the high-quality home delivery service.

At every touchpoint during delivery, you`ll be acting as a professional representation of our clients brand. You'll be hands-on in this physical role, so you might be lifting anything from a mattress to a sofa bed, alongside your drivers mate.

The vehicles are loaded for you ahead of your shift so you can focus on getting on your way. With the help of all the training, you'll become an A* assembler. Whilst you build a range of bedroom furniture in our customers` homes, you'll have the opportunity to develop a strong rapport with them. Every step of the way, you'll go the extra mile by providing an exceptional service to each and every customer.
