Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer - 12 Month FTC - Aston, Birmingham - £24-28 per hour (DoE)
Do you have hands-on experience supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
Are you confident working with FMEAs, SOPs and process control documentation?
Have you delivered process improvements, efficiency or cost reduction projects?
Are you comfortable working cross-functionally with production, quality and maintenance teams?
Take your career to the next level with a global engineering manufacturer at their Birmingham production facility on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.
This role has been created to support manufacturing operations, process improvement activity and NPI projects during a busy period of change and investment across the site.
What you NEED...
HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a production environment
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban)
Experience creating and maintaining FMEAs, SOPs, PCPs and related documentation
CAD experience (Creo or similar 3D CAD systems)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to hit the ground running in a contract environment
