Business Development Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and respected organisation within the commercial vehicle sector. This is a key role covering the Stoke-on-Trent area, focused on driving sales growth, developing long-term client relationships, and promoting a wide range of transport and fleet solutions.

As Business Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of your territory, developing both new and existing business opportunities across a range of products and services including:
New and used truck sales
Contract hire and rental
Trailer and aftermarket solutions
You’ll use your industry knowledge and interpersonal skills to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and deliver solutions that meet each customer’s operational needs.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share
Identify, approach, and convert new business prospects
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service
Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends
Maintain accurate records and forecasts through CRM systems
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within commercial vehicles, transport, or fleet services
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
A consultative approach to selling, with the ability to build trusted relationships
Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A full UK driving licence
